My father got parental signature to join the Navy since was under 18. He went through boot camp at Camp Farragut in Idaho and graduated shortly after his 18th birthday. He continues to go back to Farragut for the boot camp reunions, and to date, has never found a sailor from his unit. He has made many friends from the few remaining sailors who show up annually. As he is over 85 (and he is one of the YOUNGER ones), we know that this connection with the past is slipping away from us. Interview your "veteran's" and help them to remember so you can never forget!
