A judge in Colfax, WA sentenced Former fugitive Frederick Russell to 14 years and three months in prison for causing a traffic accident that killed three Washington State University students. Russell was convicted in November of three counts of vehicular homicide for the 2001 crash on the highway between the college towns of Pullman, WA, and Moscow, ID. The judge told Russell, "you are going to get the maximum sentence under the law, because you deserve it."
