Nationwide there are 141 Jingle Bell Run/Walks for the Arthritis Foundation taking place this holiday season, and Seattle gets to claim the largest Jingle Bell Run/Walk in the NATION!!!
Twelve thousand people registered to participate this year, creating a sea of red, white, green, stripes, antlers, and of course - bells!
It's all for a very good cause. Arthritis is one of the most common causes of disability in the U.S. and one of the most prevalent chronic health problems.
Used to describe more than 100 different conditions, Arthritis affecta joints as well as other parts of the body. 1.2 million people in Washington State have Arthritis and an estimated 300,000 children in the US live with the disease as well.
