SEATTLE, August 30, 2013 – NWCN is excited to announce that its popular Seahawks post-game call-in show, the ‘Fone Zone,’ will  return for a ninth consecutive season with new energy and new talent.

‘Fone Zone’ is one of the best post- game resources available.  It is the very first opportunity for fans to voice their opinions after each Seahawks game and gives viewers a chance to hear what “12th Man” fans are feeling all across the Pacific Northwest.

Returning features are picks for Player of the Game, Play of the Game, and Drive of the Game, while callers vie to become the Caller of the Day.  ‘Fone Zone’ airs on NWCN directly after the Seahawks network broadcast.

“It’s a fun, fan-filled show where Seahawks fans can either cheer for the team or vent their frustrations.  There is nothing else like it on television in the Northwest.”  NWCN News Director, Wayne Lynch

Not only is ‘Fone Zone’ returning for another year of action packed football analysis, but it is also adding 710 ESPN Seattle Radio Executive Producer, Jessamyn McIntyre, to the line-up.   McIntyre joins KING 5 Sports Reporter and Fone Zone veteran, Chris Egan as co-host of the popular show.  As a sideline reporter for Washington State University’s football broadcasting network, McIntyre is sure to add fresh insight and an exciting dynamic to the team.

As pre-season comes to a close, be on the lookout for ‘Fone Zone’ in your cable and Dish Network line-up as the official 2013 season commences.

Tune in to NWCN after each Seahawks game and join the sound-offs of fellow fans across the region!
