SPOKANE -- Anthony Burke, who also goes by Anthony Garver, was released from federal prison on July 2.
He disappeared while traveling via Greyhound from California to Spokane.
He was supposed to report to Geiger Work Release at 5 p.m. Friday July 3, but never arrived.
Officials consider him armed and dangerous and consider him an extreme risk to re-offend.
He has a history of mental disorders and has been violent in the past.
Burke was charged in 2006 with possession of ammunition after having been committed to a mental institution.
He was under investigation by the Inland Northwest Joint Terrorism Task Force for threats to blow up public buildings and cause mass casualties at public events.
Burke pleaded guilty to the federal charge and was sentenced to three years in prison followed by three years supervised release.
He has been involved in threats to public officials and witnesses involved in his trial.
On July 4, Burke was seen in the area of Forker and Morrison Roads in Spokane County.
Anyone who sees him is asked to avoid contact and call 911 immediately.
