TROUTDALE, Ore. -- A training helicopter made a hard landing late Wednesday morning at Troutdale airport. The two occupants walked away.
Emergency crews were dispatched at 11:10 a.m.
KGW helicopter pilot Daron Larsen was at the airport. He said the helicopter is a Robinson-22, one of the most widely used training helicopters in the world.
He said the chopper "hit hard." There were parts scattered around the site.
