PORTLAND, Ore. -- A toddler was reported missing by her grandmother and police said she was last seen with her mother, according to Portland Police Bureau.

Alexis Arnold, 23 months old, had been living with her grandmother under a voluntary custody agreement and was last seen with her mother, Tiffanie Lewis, on Sunday night at the Southeast Portland residence of a relative.

Lewis, 19, is wanted by police on an outstanding felony warrant.

Neither she nor her daughter have been seen since Sunday.

Lewis did not commit a crime by taking her daughter, detectives said, and they do not suspect her capable of intentionally harming the child.

Police were concerned for the child's welfare because of Lewis' criminal history.

Baby Alexis was described as about 2 feet tall, weighing about 23 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.

Lewis stands about 5'4" tall and weighs 110 pounds with long brown hair and eyes. She has a tattoo of three dots on her left hand, with piercings in her ears, lips and tongue.

Anyone with information on Arnold or Lewis was urged to contact 9-1-1.
