BOISE - A plane that went missing en route to Bountiful, Utah from Caldwell has been found.

The Northwest Regional Operations Center says the Comanche small plane took off, but failed to arrive in Utah on time.

Curt Hawkins with the Caldwell Industrial Airport says the plane took off from his facility Monday night, bound for Bountiful.

The plane was located in a remote area of Elmore County near King Hill, between Twin Falls and Glenns Ferry, according to Elmore County Dispatch.

The Federal Aviation Administration says they lost track of the plane about 40 miles outside of Twin Falls late Monday night.

The plane is registered to a Caldwell man, who Hawkins said sold the plane yesterday to a man by the name of Craig Jewett. The Associated Press reports there was also a passenger on the plane.

It isn't known if the plane crash landed or crashed. The condition of the pilot is not yet known.
