Meteorologist Don Carson joined the NorthWest Cable News on air team in September of 1997.

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Don received his degree in meteorology from Miami-Dade College.

A professional broadcast meteorologist for more than 25 years, Don has worked in several television markets, including Detroit, Miami, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Columbus, Ohio, and in Tennessee.

Don was also an on air meteorologist for CNN from 1983 through 1990.

Don has received both the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association Seals of Approval for broadcast meteorologists.

Don enjoys motorcycling, restoring old cars and collecting license plates - his current collection numbers over 600 with plates from throughout the U.S. and the world.
