Nick Allard

Nick Allard joined NorthWest Cable News in May 2006 as a reporter and weather anchor.

Before coming to NorthWest Cable News, Allard was a weather anchor at KVEW-42/KAPP-35 in the Tri-Cities and Yakima, Washington, from 2003-2006. At KVEW, he reported for one year before becoming the main weather anchor. He produced and anchored the 5, 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts for both stations while based out of the Tri-Cities. He also hosted "Ultimate Yard Makeovers," Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethons, and reported live from Detroit the week leading up to Super Bowl XL and during the game.

Allard received his B.A. degree in broadcast news and production from the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication at Washington State University. He is currently enrolled at Mississippi State University for his certification to become a meteorologist. Allard enjoys playing all kinds of sports and spending time outdoors.
